I realize that no two people are the same and as such tailor my therapy to meet the specific needs of my clients. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression or any other issue, I will help you recognize underlying problems, fully realize your strengths, and adjust certain behaviors and thoughts to see things a different, healthier way.

My practice specializes in treating individuals, couples, and families and I offer comprehensive services dealing with the following:

Mental health concerns: depression and anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, stress/adjustment issues, grief/loss, eating disorders, postpartum depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), amongst other DSM-5TR diagnoses.

Relationship and Couples Counseling concerns: premarital counseling, strengthening a committed and long-term relationship, ending a relationship, and co-parenting. Expertise in working with heterosexual and LGBTQIA+ relationships and families.

Mental Health Counseling

Couples Counseling

Do you feel like your relationship is at a standstill? Are you and your partner stuck in the same argument loop frequently? Do you feel like you and your partner are drifting apart? Do you desire more intimacy between you and your partner? All things can be improved, changed and bettered, with just a little support, no matter how big or small. With couples therapy, you’ll learn how to communicate your feelings and needs, and get what you want out of your relationship. In my couple’s therapy sessions, I help people develop the necessary skills needed to maintain sustaining love.

Premarital counseling might be last on your list, if it's there at all? While it may not be an engagement topic that's very fun or romantic, premarital counseling can help you set your marriage up to succeed and survive long-term, in spite of the odds. Attending a couples workshop at a romantic travel destination can even be fun!

What is EMDR Therapy?

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. EMDR is a set of standardized protocols that incorporates elements from different treatment approaches.

It can open your eyes to a new, insightful way to see the past and envision your future.

Compassion fatigue and burnout are an all-too real concern in the work we do as mental health providers. Taking some time for ourselves to reflect, seek supervision and our own support, and connect confidentially with another therapist for therapy is essential for our self-care.
